November 2011

Mission Update - November 2011

Our dear Prayer Partners and friends,

We greet you warmly in the Name of our Savior Jesus Christ.

We would like to wish you Happy and Meaningful Thanksgiving Day. It is not just one day’s business! It is celebration, celebration of life! The Lord wants us to be Thankful for everything.

We as family are grateful to God for His faithfulness towards us. I was retired in May and we have moved to our Home Town Nadiad. We continue to witness to blind people, needy, widows and strangers.

We would like to share brief News of our ministry during November.

  • Barean Concern:

We published 17th issue of our Bible Study magazine. It is bimonthly magazine for Gujarati pastors and Christian workers. Several pastors write us and call us to tell how useful are these Bible study for their personal life and ministry.

  • Dorkas Concern:

Eighteen girls are undergoing Tailoring. It is amazing to see how some of them can make their own Dress!! They have progressed and have learned skill! Daily they are taught a Bible verse. During past 6 months twice we had conducted half day Retreats. All girls come from other faith.

  • Siloam Concern:

During the month we saw many opportunity to witness blind people.

In fact several of our contact phones us. They want to meet us. Many of them ask about Good News meeting. God willingly we will plan one in January 2012. Please pray that more people may attend and be blessed. Pray that the Lord may provide our needs (Rs.45, 000/-) about US$900).

We have met some blind people on our way. We tried to befriend them.

  • Varsha: She was only six months old when brought to our care in centre. We have seen her growth. She is now Teenage girl. Mrs. Dina M.Christian has adopted her as daughter. Varsha visited us. We prayed for her future and blessed her.

  • Mohamed Javed: This partially sighted and physically handicapped Muslim young man hails from Jamalpur, Ahmedabad. We are in touch with him since past several years. He has attended our all Good News meetings and has visited us several times. We have shown love to him. Since we moved to Nadiad, he visited us three times! We spend time with him and share lunch. Please pray that he may accept Jesus as his Personal Savior.

  • Rag-pickers:

We have found out another colony of Rag-pickers. They live at Indira Nagar. We yet have to make survey.

Several Rag-pickers come to collect waster papers and plastic bags in Mission Road area. We ourselves preserve our waste papers in a bag and give to them. One man comes from Sandhana village. He walks six kilometers and collects waste.

Soon we will provide cup of tea to them. We are in much prayers about children at Saibaba Nagar. We need support for Paid Volunteers, stationary for education of these children and for primary education for 200 children is big work.

  • Church Ministry:

I attended Baptism Ceremony of Naomi, daughter of my cousin's son, who lives at Canada. Pastor invited me to share the Word of God. I had preached message on wedding of her parents!! We met several Prayer Partners.

Our son Arpit was also present with Preeti, his wife, son Jason and daughter Susan. He also was asked to share the Word at Thanksgiving meeting after worship.

  • New Comer:

Our daughter Vandana and Arnest Vanvir are blessed by a baby girl on October 30th. We Praise God for her. Avishai, their son will be two on December 9th.

  • Tyranus Concern:

Twenty-seven Christian Tribal students whom we have sponsored are studying well. We visit them often. A timely gift helped us to pay Hostel fees for 14 girls till November. The Lord is faithful.

Thank you so much for upholding us to the Throne of Grace. We need your prayers and financial assistance.

Once again we wish you Happy Thanksgiving Day.

May our Good God be with you all in a special way.

Co-laborers in Lord’s vineyard,

Shantijai & Hephsie Khristmukti
