Rev. Dr. Shantijai Khristmukti is the son of Late Rev.Isusukh & Mrs.Helen Khristmukti, who were the First Indian Methodist Missionaries to Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe). He accepted Christ as his Personal Savior in Sunday School camp when he was in the first year of University. His parents had dedicated him for the Lord's service before he was born. He made personal commitment to the Lord.

After majoring in Microbiology (B.Sc.)in University in 1966, he worked with Operation Mobilization (OM) in India for four years. He led teams in different States. There he learned many precious lessons of his life. He was led to join Bible Seminary. He completed Bachelor of Divinity (BD) at Union Biblical Seminary in 1973.

Since then, he was Pastor in many Methodist congregations at Mumbai and Gujarat. He trained youth and leaders in Outreach Ministries.

He also studied at Haggai Institute at Singapore in 1978.

He was privileged to participate Amsterdam '83 and Lausanne II at Manila in 1989. 

His wife - Hephsie is a graduate. She also committed her life to the Lord while in High School. After her marriage, she assists her husband in his entire ministry. He retired from Gujarat Regional Conference of Methodist Church in India in May 2011. (See videos of Retirement Function  http://www.skblind.org/retirement_function  ). They will continue to serve the Lord.

Both of their children know the Lord personally. They are graduates.

Vandana, at present looks after his correspondence. She is married to Arnest Vanvir and has son Avishai & baby daughter.

Arpit, son, after science graduation did BD at Union Biblical Seminary where his father also studied and at present as a family serves God through University students (National Staff of UESI). He is married to Preeti and has son Jason and daughter Suzan.
